Creating and Sharing Custom Audio-to-Haptics Profiles

You can design personalized Audio-to-Haptics profiles that convert sound into haptic sensations using bHaptics Studio. These profiles allow you to fine-tune how different audio frequencies are transformed into tactile feedback. Once complete, your profiles can be used on your bHaptics devices or shared with the wider community via the bHaptics Player.

How to Create Your Audio-to-Haptics Profile

  1. Open bHaptics Player, log in, and enable Audio-to-Haptics.

  2. Visit bHaptics Studio.

  3. Select “Create New Theme”, choose your device, and name your profile.

  4. Configure audio frequencies and map feedback points to define how sound converts to haptic feedback.

  5. Your newly created profile will appear automatically in your Audio-to-Haptics library.

How to Upload and Share Your Profile

  1. In bHaptics Player, navigate to Audio-to-Haptics > Explore.

  2. Click “Upload” to open the upload form on the bHaptics Studio website.

  3. Fill in the title, type, genre, and tags (lowercase only, minimum two). Add a description and recommended content.

  4. Click “UPLOAD.”

  5. Once uploaded, your profile will be visible under Audio-to-Haptics > Explore in the bHaptics Player.
