If you notice that one or more motors on your bHaptics device are not vibrating or functioning correctly, you can use the Feedback Test in Dot Mode to identify the affected motors. This test can be performed through the bHaptics Player software.
Steps to Test Motors Using Dot Mode
- Open the bHaptics Player app on your Windows PC or mobile device.
- Connect and pair your bHaptics device to the app.
- Navigate to Settings > Feedback Test.
- Select Dot Mode.
- Activate individual motors to identify which ones are not working.
What to Do If Motors Are Not Functioning
If you find that some motors are not working during the test:
- Record a Video:
- Use your device to record a video while performing the Dot Mode test.
- Ensure the video clearly shows which motors are unresponsive. - Contact bHaptics Support:
- Email the video to support@bhaptics.com.
- Include your order information (order number, purchase date, etc.) in the email.
- Provide a brief description of the issue.
