To use your bHaptics TactGloves with Meta Quest, you need to pair them via Bluetooth within the bHaptics Player app. Once paired, the glvoes will automatically reconnect the next time you use them.
Pairing to Meta Quest headset
To pair TactGlove to your Quest, please follow these steps:
- On your Meta Quest headset, download bHaptics Player from the Meta Quest store.
- Power on your TactGloves and ensure the LED indicators are blinking blue (left) and green (right).
- Open the bHaptics Player app on your headset.
Important: When running the app for the first time, make sure to grant all permissions to ensure a proper connection. - Press the Add Device button.
- When your TactGlove devices appear, pair each one.
- Use the Ping or Test Feedback Points function in the app to confirm the connection.
Unpairing
If you no longer wish to use your TactGlove with Meta Quest, you can remove the pairing by following these steps:
- Open bHaptics Player on your Meta Quest headset.
- Enusre your TactGloves are powered off.
- Press the Unpair button for each TactGlove.
- Once the device icons disaapear, your TactGloves have been successfully unpaired.
