After completing the Bluetooth setup, you can enjoy SteamVR titles with your bHaptics devices by pairing them to your Windows PC through the bHaptics Player for PC.
Once a device is paired, it will automatically connect whenever it is powered on, until it is manually unpaired.
Pairing and Unpairing from the Mini Player
You can quickly pair or unpair your device using the Mini Player located in the lower-left corner of the bHaptics Player.
To pair a device:
- Open bHaptics Player and turn on your device.
- Right-click the scanned device and select "Pair". You can also pair all scanned devices at once by clicking the "Pair All" icon.
- Verifying device connection with a feedback test in Device > Feedback Test.
If you no longer wish to use bHaptics device with the paired PC, you can unpair it.
To unpair the device, please follow theses steps :
- Right-click the connected device icon, then click “Unpair” button. Or you can unpair all paired device at once with “Unpair All” button.
- Upon unpairing, the device will automatically enter pairing mode.
Pairing and unpairing from Device menu
In Device tab, you can browse the full list of scanned device at a glance and pair the one you wish to use.
To pair the device in Device tab, please follow these steps:
- Open bHaptics Player and turn on your device.
- Go to Device > Scanned tab (When a device is scanned, red dot will appear above the Scanned device tab).
- Check out all scanned devices and click “Pair” button next to the device you wish to use.
(The number under the Device name meadn RSSI value. A lower value indicates a stronger signal.) - Once the device is successfully paired, it will appear in the “Connected” section.
To unpair the device in Device tab, please follow these steps:
- Go to Device > Connected device section.
- Click “Unpair” button next to the device you no longer want to use.
