Using Audio-to-Haptics with SteamVR on TactSuit Air

If your SteamVR title doesn’t provide native support, you can still enjoy it with your TactSuit Air by using our Audio-to-Haptics feature. On a Windows PC, Audio-to-Haptics can be used in wireless mode.

Set Up Wireless Audio-to-Haptics for SteamVR on Windows PC

The first step to enjoy SteamVR titles with Audio-to-Haptics is pairing your device with your Windows PC and enabling Audio-to-Haptics in bHaptics Player.

  1. Open bHaptics Player and turn on your TactSuit Air.

  2. In the Mini Player, right-click the detected device icon and click Pair.

  3. In the Mini Player, click the Audio-to-Haptics button to turn it on.

  4. When an audio signal is detected, an animated sound bar and a volume meter will appear on the device icon.

  5. Click the profile section in the Mini Player.

  6. Browse the list of profiles and select the one that best matches your content.
